Tricia Ruark added two goals and two assists as NKU - ranked No. 1 nationally in the NCAA Division II poll - improved to 14-0 overall, 8-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The 14-0 start is the best in the five-year history of the NKU womens soccer program. Jeanna Martin recorded three assists for NKU, and Hope Bushelman added a pair of assists. The Norse are 28-0-2 during their last 30 matches in the regular season. The last team to defeat the Norse in a regular-season match was the University of Missouri-Rolla, which posted a 5-3 win against NKU on Aug. 27, 2000. NKU can wrap up the No. 1 seed in the upcoming GLVC Tournament with a road win at the University of Missouri-St. Louis this Friday at 6 p.m. If the Norse defeat the Riverwomen, NKU will host the GLVC semifinals and finals, which will be held Nov. 3-4.
