Norse women’s soccer team tabbed No. 3 in Division II |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer team is ranked No. 3 nationally in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division II preseason poll. NKU, which posted a 22-2 record last season and advanced to the NCAA Division II Final Four for the third straight year, returns six starters and 11 letterwinners. Defending NCAA Division II national champion University of California at San Diego is No. 1 in the preseason poll, followed by No. 2 Christian Brothers University. NKU, which has won four consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference championships, begins the season Aug. 30 against Saginaw Valley State University. |
