NKU FAVORED IN GLVC POLL

Norse seeking fifth straight GLVC title

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer team has been picked as the favorite in the Great Lakes Valley Conference preseason coaches poll. NKU, which has won four consecutive GLVC championships, received 10 of 11 first-place votes from the coaches. The Norse - who posted a 10-0 record in the GLVC last season - have also advanced to the NCAA Division II Final Four the past three years. The coaches tabbed the University of Wisconsin-Parkside as the No. 2 team in the GLVC, followed by the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and the University of Indianapolis to round out the top five.
