ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Northern Kentucky University womens golf team jumped into third place at the NCAA Division II National Championships Friday by finishing with a score of 323, and the Norse enter Saturdays final round with a three-day total of 992. NKUs Diana Camacho shot a 3-over-par 76 shot at the par-73 Meadows Golf Club and is tied with teammate Kim Keyer-Scott for 12th place in the individual competition at 244 (+25) after three rounds. Keyer-Scott shot 77 on Friday. Two-time defending NCAA Division II national champion Florida Southern College holds a 49-stroke lead over second-place Barry (Fla.) in the team standings. NKU trails Barry by 19 strokes going into the final round. The NCAA Division II National Championships is a 72-hole tournament which will continue through Saturday.
