KEYER-SCOTT EARNS ALL-AMERICA HONOR
Norse junior golfer honored by the NGCA
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University womens golfer Kim Keyer-Scott has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association Division II All-America Team.
Keyer-Scott, a junior and a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, earned second team All-America honors from the NGCA. She tied for 16th place individually at the NCAA Division II national finals last week with a four-round total of 314 (+26).
It marked the second straight year Keyer-Scott competed at the national finals as an individual.
During the fall, Keyer-Scott captured the medal at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships with a two-day total of 147 (+3). She also earned GLVC Player of the Year honors by winning the medal.
This is the third straight year that Keyer-Scott has earned All-America honors from the NGCA. Two years ago, she earned first team All-America honors and was also named the Division II Softspikes Freshman of the Year.
A year ago, Keyer-Scott was tabbed second team All-America by the NGCA. She is the only three-time All-American in NKU golf history.
