KEYER-SCOTT NAMED ALL-AMERICAN

NKU golfer earns honor for second straight year

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University women’s golfer Kim Keyer-Scott has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association Division II All-America Team.

Keyer-Scott, a sophomore and a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, was named second team All-American by the NGCA. Last season, Keyer-Scott earned first team All-America honors from the NGCA and was named the Division II Softspikes Freshman of the Year.

Keyer-Scott posted a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division II national championships last week, and she sported a 78.4 stroke average this season. Keyer-Scott led after two rounds of the NCAA Division II national championships before settling for fifth place nationally - the best individual finish in the history of NKU women’s golf.

Keyer-Scott captured medals at both the Anderson (S.C.) Invitational and the Kiawah Island Invitational this season. She also earned All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors in the fall after leading NKU to its first-ever GLVC title.
