Keyer-Scott finishes with a 77 in first round |

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - Kim Keyer-Scott shot a 5-over-par 77 Saturday in the opening round of play as the Northern Kentucky University womens golf team completed the first day of the Ferris State Invitational in fourth place with a total of 333. Keyer-Scott shot rounds of 40-37 to tie for third place after one round, one stroke behind co-leaders Kim Moore (Indianapolis) and Tanis Hastmann (Nebraska-Omaha). Ferris State leads the team competition with a one-day total of 315 at the par-72 Katke Golf Course. NKUs Leslie Fossitt shot an 84 and is in 23rd place after the first day.
