HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball team will play the 2000 NCAA Division II national champion Norse squad in an exhibition game Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in Regents Hall.
Members of the 2000 national championship team expected to play include Michelle Cottrell, Julie Cowens, Suzie Smith, Bridget Flanagan, Kristin Polosky and Heather Livingstone. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds will benefit the NKU women’s basketball team’s Australia Tour in May 2005.

NKU opens its regular-season schedule Nov. 16 against Georgetown (Ky.) College at 7 p.m. in Regents Hall. The Norse posted a 17-11 record last season and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the sixth straight year.
