NKU 12TH NATIONALLY IN TEAM GPA

Norse women’s basketball squad posts 3.431 team GPA

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball team has been honored by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association for overall team grade point average, which was 3.431 last season. NKU’s overall GPA placed 12th nationally, according to the WBCA’s NCAA Division II top 25 poll for academics. NKU also posted a 25-5 record and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament last season. The Norse open the 2001-02 season on Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. against Georgetown (Ky.) College in Regents Hall.
