NKU WINS 30TH CONSECUTIVE GAME

Norse keep rolling with 63-33 win over UW-Parkside

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Heather Livingstone scored 18 points Saturday afternoon as the Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball team defeated the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, 63-33, in Regents Hall.

Michelle Cottrell added 13 points and nine rebounds as NKU (6-0, 2-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference) won its 30th consecutive game dating back to last season. The Norse have not lost since Jan. 8, 2000, when Bellarmine posted a 76-72 win against NKU in Regents Hall.

NKU, ranked No. 1 nationally in the Division II poll, held Wisconsin-Parkside to 19.2 percent shooting from the field during the first half to build a 30-13 lead. The Norse also forced the Rangers into 24 turnovers and made 20 of 25 free throw attempts.
