NORSE IMPROVE TO 19-1 WITH WIN OVER KWC

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Senior outside hitter Jenny Jeremiah had 15 kills and 17 digs Friday night as Northern Kentucky University defeated Kentucky Wesleyan College, 15-2, 15-8, 15-9, in Regents Hall.

Junior middle hitter Jessica Buroker added nine kills and 16 digs for NKU, which improved to 19-1 overall, 9-0 GLVC. The Norse are ranked No. 4 nationally in the NCAA Division II poll and will play host to the University of Southern Indiana at 2 p.m. Saturday.

NKU has now won 45 consecutive matches in Regents Hall against GLVC foes. The last GLVC opponent to beat NKU in Regents Hall was IPFW on Sept. 3, 1995. NKU’s last home defeat to a non-GLVC foe was in 1997, when New Haven posted a victory against the Norse in Regents Hall.
