NKU improves to 10-4 with victory |

RENSSELAER, Ind. - Bethany Gastright had 24 kills and 22 digs Friday night as the Northern Kentucky University volleyball team defeated Saint Josephs College, 23-30, 30-25, 31-29, 30-20. Gastright added a .430 hitting percentage as NKU improved to 10-4 overall, 5-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse, who extended their winning streak to six with the victory, are ranked No. 22 nationally in the latest NCAA Division II poll. Cammi Welter recorded 17 kills for the Norse, and Julie Hathorn picked up 10 kills and three block solos. Sara Taylor finished with 40 assists and two service aces. NKU will conclude its road trip at 3 p.m. Saturday with a match at Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne.
