NKU RANKED NO. 1 IN REGIONAL POLL

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University volleyball team is all alone at the top in the latest Great Lakes Region rankings.

NKU, which was tied with Grand Valley State and Northern Michigan for No. 1 in the Oct. 13 ratings, is the No. 1 team in the latest Great Lakes Region rankings. The Norse (22-1) are followed by No. 2 Northern Michigan. Indiana-Purdue at Fort Wayne and Northwood (Mich.) are tied for No. 3 in the ratings.

NKU already owns victories against Northern Michigan, IPFW and Northwood this season. The No. 1 team in the Great Lakes Region poll will play host to the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional in November.
