Norse lose second straight match

GEORGETOWN, Ky. - Susan Clements recorded 24 kills and had 19 digs Tuesday night as the Georgetown (Ky.) College volleyball team defeated Northern Kentucky University, 15-10, 15-7, 15-13.

Beth Vieth added 12 kills and a .476 hitting percentage for Georgetown (14-3), which extended its winning streak to 12. NKU, which lost its second straight match, was led by Bethany Gastright’s 16 kills.

Jessica Buroker had 10 kills and a .471 hitting percentage for the Norse, who are now 12-4 and ranked No. 14 nationally in the Division II poll. NKU will return home Friday night at 7 p.m. to host Kentucky Wesleyan College in Regents Hall.
