GASTRIGHT LEADS NKU PAST INDIANAPOLIS

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Sophomore outside hitter Bethany Gastright had 14 kills and a .375 hitting percentage Friday night as the Northern Kentucky University volleyball team improved to 16-1 with a 15-2, 15-0, 15-10 victory over Indianapolis in Regents Hall.

NKU, now 6-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, also received nine kills apiece from Jenny Jeremiah and Jessica Buroker. Jeremiah added 19 digs, and Buroker had a .600 hitting percentage as the Norse posted the victory over Indianapolis (16-6, 2-4 GLVC).

NKU will play host to Southern Illinois at Edwardsville at 2 p.m. Saturday.
