NKU TIP-OFF LUNCHEON SET FOR NOV. 21

WLW’s Furman to be master of ceremonies

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The 19th annual Northern Kentucky University Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Marquise Banquet & Conference Center in Wilder, Ky., starting at 11:30 a.m. The master of ceremonies will be 700 WLW-AM radio personality Andy Furman, host of 700 WLW’s Sports Talk. NKU basketball coaches Ken Shields and Nancy Winstel will give insights into the upcoming basketball season and preview their teams. Cost to attend the event is $20 per person, or $160 for a table of eight. A cash bar will open at 11:30 a.m., and the program will begin at noon.
