NKU WINS GLVC ALL-SPORTS TROPHY

Norse earn GLVC All-Sports Trophy for first time in history

 

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University has won the Great Lakes Valley Conference All-Sports Trophy for the first time in school history.

NKU, which has been a member of the GLVC since the 1985-86 season, won conference championships in women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s tennis and women’s basketball this past season en route to capturing the GLVC All-Sports Trophy. The All-Sports Trophy is based on conference finishes in 10 sports (five men’s sports, five women’s sports).

Each institution counts its best 10 finishes in the GLVC All-Sports Trophy standings.

Lewis finished in second place in the All-Sports Trophy standings, followed by Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Indianapolis and Missouri-St. Louis to round out the top five.
