FINDLAY RALLIES PAST NKU FOR SWEEP

Norse now 10-12 after dropping two close games on Tuesday

FINDLAY, Ohio - The University of Findlay softball team scored six runs in the sixth inning Tuesday to defeat Northern Kentucky University, 6-4, and complete a sweep of the doubleheader.

Findlay also rallied for a 2-1 victory in the first game by scoring twice in the bottom of the seventh inning. Amy Murphy’s run-scoring single provided the winning run for Findlay.

Freshman Jessica Trinkle collected three hits in the second game for NKU, which is now 10-12 overall. Freshman Amanda Davidson added a single and triple for the Norse.
