NKU WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM REMAINS UNBEATEN

 

WILDER, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer team remained unbeaten Saturday with a 5-0 victory against Wisconsin-Parkside at the Town & Country Sports Complex.

Sophomore Tricia Ruark scored a pair of goals for the Norse, who improved to 11-0 overall, 5-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU, ranked No. 5 in the nation, will play Lewis University at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

In the men’s match between NKU and Wisconsin-Parkside, the Rangers’ Raymond James scored two goals as UWP handed the Norse a 4-1 loss. NKU is now 5-3-1 overall, 2-2-1 in the GLVC. Sophomore Kevin Crone scored the only goal for the Norse, who will face Lewis University at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
