AT NKU: Rupe begins his fifth season with the Norse…sat out as a redshirt three years ago…outstanding post player who runs the floor well…could compete for All-GLVC honors this season. 2002-03: Appeared in all 31 games and started 22…scored 6.6 points and grabbed 4.5 boards per contest…shot a team-high .651 from the field and tallied 13 assists, 26 steals, and 17 blocked shots. 2001-02: Appeared in 27 games and started 13…scored 5.3 points and added 3.9 rebounds per game…shot .584 from the field…tallied 12 assists, 11 steals and 13 blocked shots. 2000-01: Sat out as a redshirt. 1999-2000: Saw action in 23 games…averaged 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds…shot 50 percent from the field and had seven blocked shots.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 graduate of Maysville (Ohio) High School…averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds as a senior…earned four letters in both football and basketball…coached by Chad Coconis.
PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 15, 1981…son of Mike and Diana Rupe.
