NOAKES NAMED GLVC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University's Kristen Noakes has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference women's soccer Player of the Week.

Noakes, a freshman forward and a graduate of Dixie Heights High School, scored game-winning goals against both Morehead State and Missouri-St. Louis last week. Her goal in overtime lifted NKU to a 2-1 victory at Morehead State. Noakes also had the winning goal late in regulation during the Norse's 3-1 victory against UMSL. Noakes gave NKU a 2-1 lead against UMSL, and the Norse added an insurance goal late in the game.

For the week, Noakes had three goals and an assist as NKU remained unbeaten (8-0).
