NKU TO MEET LEWIS THIS FRIDAY |

Top-seeded Norse seek first GLVC title since 1990 |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University mens tennis team will be the No. 1 seed in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships this weekend, and the Norse will play eighth-seeded Lewis University in the first round Friday at Indianapolis, Ind. NKU, 17-3 overall and 8-0 in the GLVC, will be seeking its first GLVC Championships title since 1990. Lewis is 6-10 overall, 1-7 in the GLVC. The first two rounds will be played Friday, with the finals scheduled for Saturday. NKU is led by junior Amine Benjelloun, who is 17-3 overall at No. 1 singles. The Norse also feature sophomore Billy Hopkins, who owns an 18-2 record at No. 4 singles. GLVC CHAMPIONSHIPS Friday, April 18 (at North Central High School, Indianapolis, Ind.)
