Janah scores two goals as NKU extends winning streak to three |

WILDER, Ky. - Sophomore midfielder Mohamed Janah scored a pair of goals Friday night as the Northern Kentucky University mens soccer team defeated Bellarmine University, 2-0, at the Town & Country Sports Complex. Janah tallied both goals in the second half as NKU (3-7, 3-2 Great Lakes Valley Conference) won its third straight match. Janahs first goal came at the 62:43 mark off an assist from Mike Poole, and he sealed the victory for NKU three minutes later with a breakaway goal off an assist from Tony Becker. Senior goalie Jimmy Dwertman recorded the shutout and had three saves. NKU will play at the University of Missouri-Rolla at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Norse will return home next Friday night to host the University of Southern Indiana at 6 p.m. at the Town & Country Sports Complex. NKU 2, BU 0 GOALS: NKU-Janah 2. SHUTOUT: Dwertman (3 saves).
