Becker and Pitzer score goals as Norse win second straight match

WILDER, Ky. - Tony Becker and Aaron Pitzer both scored goals Sunday afternoon as the Northern Kentucky University men’s soccer team defeated the University of Indianapolis, 2-0, at the Town & Country Sports Complex. Goalie Justin Wesling picked up the shutout and had six saves as NKU (2-7, 2-2 Great Lakes Valley Conference) won its second straight match. Becker and Pitzer scored first-half goals to give the Norse a 2-0 halftime lead, and the NKU defense recorded its first shutout of the season. NKU 2, UI 0 GOALS: NKU-Becker, Pitzer. SHUTOUT: Wesling (6 saves). RECORDS: NKU 2-7, 2-2 GLVC; UI 4-3, 2-2 GLVC.
