RICHMOND, Va. - Obie Gravely scored three goals Friday as the Virginia Commonwealth University men’s soccer team defeated Northern Kentucky University, 11-1. Roman Otten added a goal and three assists as VCU improved to 2-1. Gilberto Bejarano had three assists as the Rams scored 11 unanswered goals after NKU had taken a 1-0 lead on Nathan Gindele’s unassisted score in the first half. NKU, which dropped to 1-3 overall, will conclude its road trip at 3 p.m. Saturday with a match at Southern Virginia University. |
