Gajus goal with :02 remaining gives NKU the win |

WILDER, Ky. - David Gajus goal with two seconds remaining in regulation Friday night broke a scoreless tie and gave the Northern Kentucky University mens soccer team a 1-0 win over Kentucky Wesleyan College at the Town & Country Sports Complex. NKU attempted a corner kick with 10 seconds remaining in regulation, and the ball deflected off two players in front of the goal. Gajus knocked in the rebound shot with two seconds left to give NKU the victory. Nate Madden picked up the shutout for NKU, which improved to 3-3 overall, 1-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse outshot KWC (0-3-1, 0-1 GLVC) by a 26-5 margin. NKU will play host to Bellarmine University at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Town & Country Sports Complex.
