Norse eliminated from GLVC Tournament contention |

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Matt Kaestner scored a goal early in the first half Friday as the Bellarmine University men’s soccer team defeated Northern Kentucky University, 1-0. Bellarmine goalie Brad Lipe picked up the shutout and had seven saves for Bellarmine, which improved to 10-7 overall, 4-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU dropped to 5-8-2 overall, 2-6-1 in the GLVC. The Norse were eliminated from GLVC Tournament contention as a result of the loss. NKU will travel to Owensboro, Ky., for a 1 p.m. match Sunday against Kentucky Wesleyan College. |
