Crones goal gives Norse the victory |

ROLLA, Mo. - Kevin Crone scored a goal with 10 minutes remaining in regulation Sunday afternoon to break a 2-2 tie and give the Northern Kentucky University mens soccer team a 3-2 win over the University of Missouri-Rolla. Crones goal came off an assist from Aaron Deglow and helped NKU to improve to 4-7. Jeff Anderson scored a pair of goals for the Norse, who have now won four consecutive matches after an 0-7 start. Anderson scored both goals in the first half as NKU and Missouri-Rolla were tied at 2-2 at halftime. Missouri-Rolla (6-3) entered the match ranked No. 18 nationally in the Division II poll. The Norse will return home next Friday night to host the University of Southern Indiana at 6 p.m. at the Town & Country Sports Complex. NKU 3, UMR 2 GOALS: NKU-Anderson 2, Crone.
