Lewis selected as GLVC preseason favorite |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University mens soccer team has been picked fifth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference preseason coaches poll. NKU, which posted a 10-9 overall record last season, finished fourth in the GLVC a year ago with a 7-3 mark. NKU also hosted a first-round GLVC Tournament match last season, but the Norse dropped a 3-2 decision to Quincy University. Lewis University received seven first-place votes and was tabbed the preseason favorite by the GLVC coaches. Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville was selected No. 2 by the coaches, followed by University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Quincy University.
