Norse extend home win streak to 24 consecutive games

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Todd Clark scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds Thursday night as the Northern Kentucky University men’s basketball team defeated Bellarmine University, 100-69, in Regents Hall.

Clark made 10 of 11 shots from the field as the Norse improved to 15-2 overall, 6-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU has now won 24 consecutive home games. The last team to beat NKU in Regents Hall was the University of Indianapolis, which posted an 81-71 victory over the Norse on Feb. 9, 1999.

Brenden Stowers added 15 points for NKU, which has beaten Bellarmine (8-6, 5-3 GLVC) 12 consecutive times dating back to 1994. The Norse built a 50-25 halftime lead and led by as many as 38 points in the second half.

NKU will host No. 3 Kentucky Wesleyan College at 3:15 p.m. Saturday in Regents Hall.
