NKU POSTS 92-74 VICTORY AT IPFW
Conley scores 21 points as Norse improve to 14-2
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Junior guard Craig Conley scored 21 points Thursday night as the Northern Kentucky University mens basketball team defeated Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, 92-74, at Gates Sports Center.
Junior forward Billy Brewster added 16 points and seven rebounds as NKU improved to 14-2 overall, 6-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse shot 63.6 percent from the field in the second half and coasted to the victory. NKU also held IPFW to just 37.5 percent shooting in the second half.
NKU is ranked No. 3 in the latest Great Lakes Region poll, and No. 11 nationally in the Division II Bulletin ratings. The Norse have now won 10 consecutive games against IPFW dating back to the 1994-95 season.
NKU will play at Saint Josephs College at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
