NKU KNOCKS OFF QUINCY, 66-54

Norse improve to 12-2 with win over Hawks

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Junior guard Brian Lawhon scored 17 points Thursday night as the Northern Kentucky University men’s basketball team defeated Quincy University, 66-54, in Regents Hall.

Senior forward Scott Marston added 11 points as NKU improved to 12-2 overall, 4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Senior guard Kevin Listerman scored nine consecutive points for NKU during the second half as the Norse pulled away from Quincy (4-8, 1-5 GLVC).

NKU is ranked No. 12 nationally in the Division II poll, and the Norse will play host to the University of Missouri-St. Louis at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday in Regents Hall.
