NKU POSTS 90-74 WIN AT BELLARMINE |

Norse improve to 22-5 |

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Craig Sanders scored 23 points Saturday night as the Northern Kentucky University mens basketball team defeated Bellarmine University, 90-74, at Knights Hall. Brenden Stowers added 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists as NKU improved to 22-5 overall, 13-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse made 12 of 26 three-point attempts and won the rebounding battle by a 40-29 margin. Brian Lawhon made four three-point shots and added 13 points for NKU, and Todd Clark scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds. The Norse are ranked No. 15 nationally in the Division II poll. NKU has now beaten Bellarmine (13-11, 10-8 GLVC) 13 consecutive times dating back to the 1993-94 season. |
