NKU wins 20th game of the season

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Craig Sanders scored 24 points Saturday afternoon as the Northern Kentucky University men’s basketball team defeated Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, 94-73, in Regents Hall.

Craig Conley added 18 points and six assists as improved to 20-4 overall, 11-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU has won at least 20 games in six of the last seven seasons.

NKU shot 70 percent from the field in the second half to break open a close game. The Norse used a 13-0 run midway through the second half to seal the victory.

Adam Norwell scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Norse, who are ranked No. 7 nationally in the Division II poll.
