Norse junior catcher earns third team All-America honors |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University baseball player Jason Martin has been named third team NCAA Division II All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association. Martin, a junior catcher and a graduate of Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati, collected a school-record 81 hits this season and led NKU with a .397 batting average. Martin also had seven home runs and a team-leading 53 runs batted in. Martin is the first NKU baseball player to receive All-America honors since 1994, when Brandon Chesnut earned second team accolades.
