JEREMIAH REMAINS NO. 1 NATIONALLY IN DIGS

 

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s Jenny Jeremiah continues to lead the nation in digs per game with a 6.01 average, according to the latest NCAA Division II statistics.

Jeremiah, a graduate of Seton High School in Cincinnati, has 457 digs this season. She recently became NKU’s all-time career leader in that category.

NKU’s Jessica Buroker is No. 5 in the nation in hitting percentage at .430. Buroker, a junior middle hitter from Bluffton, Ohio, has 269 kills in 528 attempts with just 42 errors to rank fifth nationally in that category.

Junior setter Bobbi Casey, a graduate of St. Henry High School, is No. 7 nationally in assists per game (13.16 apg) and 19th nationally in service aces per game with 0.64 sapg.

NKU is 21-1 overall and is ranked No. 4 nationally in the latest NCAA Division II poll.
