COTTRELL NAMED GLVC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s Michelle Cottrell has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week.

Cottrell averaged 21 points, 8.7 rebounds and shot 65.7 percent from the field to lead NKU to three wins last week. She had 20 points and 12 rebounds in a win at Kentucky Wesleyan last Monday. Cottrell added 18 points and six rebounds during a victory against UW-Parkside on Thursday, and she had 25 points and eight rebounds against Lewis on Saturday.
