Norse freshman golfer earns All-America honors

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University golfer Brandon Brown has been named NCAA Division II second team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Brown, a freshman from Shelbyville, Ky., captured the medal at the NCAA II North Regional in May and led NKU to the NCAA II national finals. He also posted a 31st-place finish at the NCAA II national finals.

During the fall, Brown earned All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors and was named the GLVC’s Freshman of the Year. He also won the medal at the NCAA II District IV Tournament during the fall.
