BINA NAMED ALL-GLVC IN SOFTBALL

Norse senior pitcher earns All-GLVC honors

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University softball player Kim Bina has been named second team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference by the league coaches. Bina, a senior pitcher and a graduate of Ryle High School, posted a 14-10 record this season and led NKU with a 1.42 earned run average. Bina also posted an NKU single-season record 144 strikeouts and had four shutouts this year. Bina finished her career as NKU’s all-time leader in strikeouts (311) and games pitched (101). The Norse were 28-25 this season.
