NKU DEFEATS ODC, 5-1

Norse improve to 34-15 with road win

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Derek Anderson collected a double and two runs batted in Tuesday as the Northern Kentucky University baseball team defeated Ohio Dominican College, 5-1. Bryan Ayers recorded the win for NKU, which improved to 34-15. Norse reliever Andy Cox picked up his first save of the season. NKU will travel to Romeoville, Ill., this weekend for a three-game series against Great Lakes Valley Conference rival Lewis University. NKU and Lewis will play a doubleheader on Saturday, followed by a single game Sunday. NKU will return home May 5-6 to host Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne. The two teams will meet in a doubleheader May 5, followed by a single game May 6.
