NORSE DEFEAT TRANSYLVANIA, 11-3

Rahschulte, Mason lead NKU to road victory

 

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Sophomore center fielder Justin Rahschulte hit a home run and had two runs batted in Monday afternoon as the Northern Kentucky University baseball team defeated Transylvania University, 11-3.

Junior first baseman Matt Mason added a double and two RBI, and sophomore third baseman Beau Brake had three RBI. NKU improved to 27-25 with the win, and Transylvania dropped to 20-22.

NKU will conclude the season this weekend by hosting a three-game series against the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. NKU and UWP will play a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at noon. The teams will conclude the series with a single game at noon on Sunday.
