NKU'S ANDERSON EARNS GLVC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s Jeff Anderson has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference men’s soccer Player of the Week.

Anderson, a freshman and a graduate of LaSalle High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, scored two goals and added an assist this weekend as NKU split a pair of road matches at Southern Indiana and Southern Illinois at Edwardsville. He scored a goal and had an assist in the Norse’s 3-2 win at Southern Indiana, and he had NKU’s only score during a 3-1 loss at SIUE.

For the season, Anderson leads NKU in scoring (13 points) with six goals and an assist.
