This is the fifth time in history an NKU player has received the honor from the AVCA, and the first since Kristin Koralewski earned the recognition in 2004. Koralewski also was named AVCA National Player of the Week in 2003. Bethany Gastright (2000) and Jenny Jeremiah (1999) also have earned the honor for NKU.

NKU (21-5 overall, 10-3 GLVC) plays host to Saint Joseph's at 7 p.m. Friday in Regents Hall. The Norse's four seniors - Holmes, Brittany Dixon, Elizabeth Droessler and Tristen Dye - will be recognized prior to the match in Senior Night festivities.
