FLORENCE, Ala. - Tristen Dye recorded 18 kills and hit .484 to lead Northern Kentucky University to a three-game sweep of Tusculum at the North Alabama Classic on Saturday morning.

NKU attacked at a .402 clip and rolled to a 30-18, 30-21, 30-14 victory over the Pioneers. Dye, a senior outside hitter from Millersburg, Ohio, collected her 18 kills in 31 attempts with just three errors as the Norse improved to 3-0. She also added eight digs.

Liz Holmes finished with 12 kills and a .381 hitting percentage, while teammate Kristina Eisenmenger added nine kills and hit .571. Tusculum managed to hit only .079 against NKU, which held a 37-28 edge in digs.

Natalie Forbes directed the NKU offense and dished out 33 assists. Brittany Dixon finished with a team-leading 10 digs, while Megan Dooley served up three aces. Chelsea Clark added five kills, six digs and two service aces for the Norse, who will meet No. 8 Ashland - the defending NCAA Division II Great Lakes Region champion - today at 3 p.m. to conclude the two-day tournament.

NKU knocked off No. 9 North Alabama in five games Friday night.
