HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University volleyball head coach Carlos Chia has announced the signing of Seton High School's Annie Lucas to a national letter of intent.

Lucas, a 6-foot-2 senior middle blocker, helped Seton win the 2005 Ohio Division I state championship. This past season, Seton captured the district title.

An honor roll student at Seton the past four years, Lucas was named honorable mention all-city in volleyball. She also earned All-Girls' Greater Cincinnati League honorable mention accolades as a basketball player.

Lucas will join an NKU volleyball program that posted a 20-13 record this past season. The Norse finished fifth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
