AT NKU: Begins her third season at NKU…returns to the starting role at pitcher and first base after yet another strong campaign...could challenge for All-GLVC and All-Region honors. 2007: Started all 48 games for the Norse, 23 at pitcher…All-GLVC honorable mention…led the Norse with a .354 batting average…drove in 26 runs and scored 17…had a team-best 16 multi-hit games…maintained a nine-game hitting streak March 24-31…Had a 9-13 record in the circle with a 3.05 ERA…pitched three shutouts over the course of the season...led the GLVC as a hitter with just 0.08 strikeouts per game (four in 48 games). 2006: Started all 62 games for the Norse at pitcher and first base...hit .317 with 22 runs and 32 RBI...had two home runs...pitched in a school record 46 contests, starting 33 with 26 complete games...compiled a 24-12 record with a 2.27 ERA...second pitcher in Norse history to win 20 games in her freshman year...pitched six shutouts...struck out 131 batters while walking 64...named GLVC Pitcher of the Week May 1 after posting a 3-0 record and allowing just two earned runs against Quincy and UMSL. HIGH SCHOOL: Batted .503 for Canal Winchester High School...was named All-Mid-State League three times. |
