SPRINGFIELD,
Mo. - Roxanne Rassti scored two goals, including the winning shot
with six minutes left in the game, to give Drury a 2-1 win over
the Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer team Friday
night.
Rassti’s
second goal snapped a 1-1 tie and lifted the Panthers past NKU,
which dropped to 4-2 overall, 2-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Drury improved to 4-2-1, 1-1-1 in the GLVC.

scored a first-half goal off a corner kick for NKU, which is ranked
25th nationally in the NCAA Division II poll. The Norse held a 1-0
lead until the 59th minute, when Rassti netted her first goal to
tie the contest.
It remained
tied until Rassti knocked in a rebound shot in the 84th minute of
play. The Panthers finished with a slight edge in shots (12-9),
but NKU held a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.
NKU will play
at Rockhurst at 1 p.m. Sunday.
