Karmen Graham |
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS,
Ky . - Northern Kentucky University’s Karmen Graham has been
voted to the Daktronics, Inc. All-Great Lakes Region first team.
Graham, a 6-foot-1
junior forward, averages 14.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
A native of Kettering, Ohio, Graham is shooting 53.6 percent from
the field and has made 83.8 percent of her free throws as NKU enters
the NCAA Division II Tournament with a 26-4 record.
Earlier this
season, Graham was named first team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference.
She also was selected to the GLVC’s all-tournament team last
week as the Norse captured the conference championship.
Graham enters
the NCAA Division II Tournament with 878 career points. She has
scored in double figures 23 times this season, with a career-best
31 points against West Virginia Wesleyan on Dec. 19.
Niki Reams
of Grand Valley State was selected as the Great Lakes Region Player
of the Year. The Daktronics, Inc. teams are selected by the sports
information directors in each region.
