CINCINNATI – The
Northern Kentucky University men’s tennis team got back
on the winning track as the Norse defeated Cedarville, 8-1, on
Tuesday.
Felipe Rossetti
maintained his undefeated streak since moving to the No. 3 singles
flight, defeating Brent Martin, 6-1,
6-3,
to bring his winning streak to five matches. Michael Volkov
and Jason Kramer each got their first wins in the No. 4 and No.
5
singles flights, respectively, dropping just two games each.
Northern
Kentucky (2-5) will open Great Lakes Valley Conference play
on Friday, hosting rival Bellarmine. The match is scheduled
to start at 2 p.m.
