OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to Lewis in the fifth-place match at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships on Saturday.

Laura Leutzinger, Clara Dorado and Ana Dorado all posted wins in singles competition for NKU. The Dorados also picked up a victory at No. 2 doubles for the Norse.

Lewis, however, won two of three doubles matches and captured singles victories at No. 4, 5 and 6 to edge NKU.

Lewis improved to 9-4, while NKU is now 4-4.
